For as long as I can remember I have been a creative person. As a kid, I would draw and play with Legos all the time. I rarely followed the instructions but rather built my own worlds with the pieces that came in the box.
My family always had a creative side to them. My mother painted, my step-father loved fantasy films and books, and my grandfather had a camcorder and recorded everything and I think subconsciously that led me to cinematography in a way.
It wasn’t until college when I took a basic color theory class that explained lights, colors, shapes, and vectors and how they influenced emotions and feelings did I really start to pursue film. I picked up a camera and started to learn as much as I could on my own.
Since then, I’ve worked on projects in the commercial, narrative, and fashion spaces for companies such as Netflix, Heinz, Levi’s, Vogue, Tommy Hilfiger, Peloton, Kiehls, and Coach to name a few.
Narratively, some projects have been official selections and screened at The Palm Springs Film Festival, HollyShorts, The Athena Film Festival, New York International Film Festival, and some pieces have been featured in Film Shortage and Booooooom online.
I’m addicted to coffee and love a day spent in the park.
